A Different Perspective on Iraq

Since we don’t have a TV (and don’t plan to get one) I’ve found other ways to keep up with current events. One site that I’ve just started reading regularly is the Belmont Club which primarily discusses the war on terror. The writer, who goes by “Wretchard”, seems to be very well versed not only in modern-day military strategy and tactics, but also the historical basis for the same.

If you’d like a very different viewpoint on what’s happening in Iraq from the one you’ll get on TV (or in the newspaper, or even on the radio), give them a try. The current commentary on the Fallujah operation is pretty gripping. Certainly makes me glad I’m not going up against the US military!
