“A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9)
Yet more verification for the veracity of Scripture: I will not be returning to the UK after I leave next week, while a few days ago I thought I’d be returning and staying until the end of June. Read on for more details…
Circumstances have changed at the company I’m consulting with, and it makes more sense for me to finish the contract in the States. Depending on the flexibility of the airlines when I change my ticket, I could leave as early as Monday, or as late as Wednesday. Now I have the fun of getting my lodging, phone, and internet access cancelled. Whoo boy.
While I’ve enjoyed the UK immensely, both in the people I’ve met, the places I’ve seen and the things the Lord has taught me, I’m ready to go home. There are things there that want attending, and things there that need to attend to me. This weekend, my last in the country for the foreseeable future, I’m going to head to downtown London and see some of things there that I haven’t visited yet (like Big Ben, the Eye, Westminster Abbey, etc.). I will remember my camera this time.
See ya’ll back in the States real soon now, OK?
